Since its inception in 2019, deboer wetsuits has quickly become one of the sport’s premier wetsuit manufacturers. That should hardly come as a surprise – co-founder Alex Deboer has been in the wetsuit business for over 25 years, so it wasn’t like he was starting from scratch.
The company is planning on a big expansion in 2024 – rebranding to deboer Swim, the company will be dramatically expanding its swimwear line to include World Aquatics approved swim suits. The company’s pro roster continues to include many of the sport’s biggest names including Kristian Blummenfelt, Gustav Iden and Chelsea Sodaro. (You can see the rest of the stacked deboer team here.) Deboer is also a partner with the new T100 Triathlon World Tour.
We caught up with Alex Deboer at the Anfi Sports Academy in Gran Canaria – the company has set up a partnership at the resort – to learn about the company’s plans for training camps, the new swimwear line and the new custom wetsuit program. (We said the company has a lot going on, right?)
